Frequently asked questions about VOtv
Which devices are supported?
Currently VOtv is optimized for iOS iPhone/iPad, Apple TV, Android Phone/Tablet, the VOtv Box, and every major Webbrowser.
Can I use my account across devices?
Sure! You can use the same login within any VOtv App.
On how many devices can I stream simultaneously with VOtv?
The stream limit permitted per VOtv account is based on your booked VOtv offer: VOtv+ Family (up to 4 parallel streams), VOtv Comfort (up to 3 parallel streams), VOtv Smart (up to2 parallel Streams).
What are the minimum system requirements to use VOtv?
We recommend a bandwidth of 50 Mbits/s with an Internet download speed of at least 5-8 Mbits/s for HD and Full HD streams. For the best experience, we recommend Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox as Browser for our Web Client.
Is an internet line from VO required for VOtv?
No! Anyone with a permanent residence in Luxembourg can have a VOtv subscription, regardless of which provider they have their internet line with.
How can I use my VOtv subscription on my TV?
We recommend to use use our decoder, the VOtv Box. Alternatively you can either use Apple AirPlay or Google Cast on supported devices to stream directly from your smartphone or tablet to the TV.
How long is a recording available?
Recordings of content may be deleted by Visual Online at any time and without prior notice. In general, records have no expiry date and are usually available for at least one year.
How long may a recording take?
It makes no difference whether you record an episode of a series that lasts only 20 minutes or a feature-length movie. Both recordings count as one recording, regardless of their running time.
Are the VOtv subscription prices with or without a VOtv Box?
Since not all of our customers need a decoder, we offer it exclusively as an add-on option (4,50 € per Box / month).
How much does the activation of VOtv cost?
Activation costs for the VOtv service are 49,90€.
Are there some handy double-clicks available to use with the remote of the VO Decoder Box?
